A simple one bowl recipe for a quick grain free roll. Pile it high with vegetables and a patty of your choice, the more colour you can include the better.
Ingredients
50g almond flour
30g coconut flour
30g flax meal or 30g flaxseeds ground
25g psyllium husks
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon hemp seeds (optional)
250ml boiling water
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Method
MAKES 4 ROLLS
Preheat oven to 160 ° C
Combine almond flour, coconut flour, flax meal, psyllium husks, sea salt, baking powder and hemp seeds in a large mixing bowl.
Mix to combine well.
Add coconut oil to boiling water and add to dry ingredients.
Mix well. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into rolls.
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until firm to tap.
